Workgroup MFPs
Shared floor devices for everyday print, copy, scan and fax. We size for real monthly volume so you are not overpaying for speed you never use.
Automation One has sold and supported business copiers since 1981. We place Canon, Xerox and Lexmark copiers and multifunction printers, then keep them running with local techs — install, training and ongoing service from the same team. Colour where brand and client materials matter; mono for high-volume internal docs. Mixed fleets are normal — we help you set defaults that keep cost-per-page honest.
Higher duty cycles, finishing and wide-format when your shop or marketing team needs more than a standard MFP. See our full catalogue.
Most offices lease so cash stays free for the business. Others buy outright when that matches their capital plan. Either way we quote install, training and a service path up front — no mystery add-ons after the box arrives.
Covered service calls average about 90 minutes on-site, with a 4-hour maximum for covered calls. Parts and OEM toner ship from our Vancouver and Burnaby inventory. Many fleets also pair devices with managed print.
Yes. Our head office is at 1365 Boundary Rd. in Vancouver, and we've sold and serviced copiers for local offices since 1981. Our local technicians install, network and service the machines we place, with parts and OEM toner shipped from our Vancouver and Burnaby inventory. For the local overview, see our Vancouver office equipment page.
Share a month of meter reads or a realistic page estimate. We match engine class so the device is not gasping at peak — or sitting idle on a production chassis.
Typically labour, OEM parts and toner for covered devices, with response targets based on your agreement. Ask us what applies to your fleet.
We schedule demos from local stock when we can. Install timing depends on network readiness and finishing options — we give a clear window when you book.
Most Vancouver offices lease, because it keeps cash free for the business and makes it easier to move to a newer machine later. Buying outright makes sense when the need is stable and long term and it fits your capital plan. We can put both options side by side, based on the same page volume and service, so you can compare them fairly.
You use the machine for a set term and make regular payments. What's included depends on how the agreement is set up. Some offices lease the equipment only, while others bundle in service, OEM toner and supplies. Every Automation One service contract covers preventative maintenance, parts, labour and loaner equipment if it's ever needed, and we quote install and training up front.
A lease is a contract for a set term, so it usually can't simply be cancelled. Whether you can upgrade to a different machine partway through, or settle the rest of the term, depends on the leasing company and the wording of your agreement. Send us your current agreement and we'll walk you through the options before you decide.
The main factors are the machine itself (speed, colour or black and white, paper sizes and finishing), how many pages you print each month, the length of the term, and what's bundled in, like service and toner. Every office is different, so we don't publish rates. Tell us about your office and we'll send a quote with the full cost laid out up front.
