At Automation One Business Systems, we live and work in communities across Metro Vancouver. We feel a deep-rooted responsibility for the health and safety of our people, their families, our customers and to the communities we serve. In response to COVID-19 we are actively working to ensure the health and safety of everyone in our office, as well as, our customers offices. Here’s what we’re doing:

Focus on cleanliness and supporting our employees and customers is our top priority. We are mandating employees stay home from work if they experience any symptoms or have recently travelled abroad. We are also increasing our office cleaning schedule to included multiple daily cleanings of common and high touch areas such as, but not limited to door handles, railing, desks, chairs, touch screens and washrooms. In abundance of precaution we have also made the decision to have our technicians carry isopropyl alcohol, which will be used on all display panels, as well as, high traffic touch points (latches, handles & other common areas). Also, we are mandating our technicians sanitize, or wash their hand before and after each service call.

Tips to help disinfect your office equipment

1. Use isopropyl alcohol of at least 70% or higher concentration
2. Do not spray isopropyl alcohol onto the equipment. Droplets can penetrate small opening if sprayed directly. Lightly dampen paper towel and then gently wipe the display panel and other high traffic touch points.
3. Do not use bleach, or bleach based products as it will negatively affect your equipment. Isopropyl alcohol is one of the safest disinfectants for electronic devices.
