Canon, Xerox, or Lexmark? Choose for the work, not the logo.

Offices often start a printer search by picking a brand. We are an authorized dealer for Canon, Xerox, and Lexmark, so we do not need you to pick one first. Start with the work the machine has to do, and the right brand usually becomes clear.

Start with the work

Before you look at a logo, write down what the office actually does with paper. How many pages a month, and how much of that is colour. What paper sizes you need. How much you scan, and where those scans need to go. Whether you need finishing such as stapling or booklets. Who needs to release print securely. When we build a shortlist, we weigh speed, duty cycle, finishing, security, and total cost per page, not just sticker price.

Size it to your real volume

Volume decides the engine class more than the brand does. Share a month of meter reads or a realistic page estimate, and we match a machine that is not gasping at peak or sitting idle on a production chassis. Colour makes sense where brand and client materials matter. Black and white is usually the better fit for high-volume internal documents. Mixed fleets are normal.

Paper size narrows the field fast

If you need larger sheets, look at A3 models. In our catalogue, those come from Canon, such as the imageFORCE line, and from Xerox, such as AltaLink multifunction printers. The Lexmark printers and multifunction printers we list are A4 devices, and some of the multifunction models also handle legal-size paper. For most everyday office work, that is plenty.

Where each lineup reaches

Canon covers the widest spread in our lineup: imageFORCE and imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX multifunction printers, imagePRESS production systems, imagePROGRAF large-format printers, and imageFORMULA document scanners. If you need plans and posters, or a dedicated scanning station, that points to Canon.

Xerox covers office printers, AltaLink multifunction printers built on ConnectKey, and PrimeLink production printers. Xerox Workplace Cloud adds cloud print management for hybrid teams.

Lexmark covers office printers and multifunction printers in colour and black and white, with compact models designed for small and medium businesses that need practical reliability.

Xerox and Lexmark now share an owner

Xerox completed its acquisition of Lexmark on July 1, 2025. That does not change how you choose. You still pick the machine for the work, and the questions that matter are service coverage and supplies. We covered it in Xerox now owns Lexmark.

Service matters as much as the brand

Whichever brand fits, the same team installs, networks, trains, supplies, and supports it from Vancouver. Our technicians are manufacturer-trained on the brands we sell. Covered service calls average about 90 minutes on-site, with a 4-hour maximum, and parts and OEM toner ship from our Vancouver and Burnaby inventory. A mixed fleet can also sit under one managed print program.

Why it mattersThe wrong brand is rarely the problem. The wrong size, the wrong paper handling, or a machine nobody local can service is. Choose the work first and the brand follows.
